Late-Night Spots in Soho For Escort Dates

Fancy making a bit more of your gorgeous escort's company before heading back to the hotel? A few drinks, some good old flirting, a bit of social fun and time to actually get to know each other can make the whole night feel far more natural.

Soho is the perfect place for that. You’ve got cocktail bars, pubs, live music and clubs all packed closely together, so whether you want somewhere relaxed to start or somewhere lively to carry on later, you’ve got plenty of options when taking out one of our Soho escorts

So, lads, below are some of the best late-night spots in Soho for an escort date, what each one is like, and which kind of night we think they suit best.

First... Plan the Night Around the Time You’ve Booked

Before choosing a bar, work backwards from how long you’ve booked your escort for. A two-hour booking might sound long enough for cocktails, another bar and a club... but is that really such a good idea? Have you even considered the time it takes to meet up, wait for drinks, or move somewhere else and queue to get in?

If you’ve only booked two hours, we’d usually stick to one good venue and actually enjoy it. With three or four hours, drinks somewhere mellow followed by one livelier late-night stop makes much more sense. An overnight gives you far more freedom because you’re not constantly wondering whether there’s enough time left to move on.

Also check the boring stuff before she arrives: does the venue take reservations, is there likely to be a queue, is there a dress code, and what time is last entry? Being prepared for those things will affect how smoothly the night runs. If you’re planning several stops rather than one simple drink, read our guide to city nights out with London escorts. It goes into more detail about how quickly London nights eat into a booking and how to avoid wasting the time you’ve paid for.

The Blue Posts - Best for a Casual First Drink

  • Address: 22 Berwick Street, London W1F 0QA
  • Best for: First drinks, casual dates and actually being able to talk

Let’s get one thing out of the way first: The Blue Posts is not where we’d send you at 1 am looking for somewhere to carry on drinking. It currently closes at 11 pm Monday to Saturday and 10.30 pm on Sunday. So why include it in a guide to Soho nights out? Because it’s a cracking place to start one.

This is much more of a proper Soho boozer, complete with a jukebox, banquette seating, craft beer and a relaxed atmosphere that makes those first 20 minutes with a new companion much easier. Grab a drink, settle in, have a decent conversation and work out whether the two of you fancy heading somewhere louder afterwards.

The nights are quite different from one another, too. The current programme includes comedy on Mondays and Wednesdays, open-mic blues and jazz on Tuesdays, live blues and jazz on Thursdays and drag karaoke on Fridays. You can have one pint or glass of wine without feeling obliged to stay all evening, then you’re already in the middle of Soho when you fancy moving on. If the chemistry is good and you both suddenly decide you want cocktails or dancing instead, perfect. Plenty of that is within walking distance.

The Little Violet Door - Best for Drinks That Turn Into a Party

  • Address: 9 Kingly Street, London W1B 5PH
  • Best for: Fun dates, cocktails, games and a bit of dancing later

The Little Violet Door solves one of the most annoying problems with London nights out: having to leave a perfectly decent bar because you now fancy somewhere livelier.

The whole place is designed like a fictional Soho flatshare. Upstairs, you’ve got a colourful Sitting Room with sofas and a fireplace where the two of you can have a drink together. Downstairs, things become considerably less civilised. There’s a Games Room with retro and board games, plus the Kitchen and Living Room where DJs take over later in the evening.

Resident DJs currently play Wednesday through Saturday, which means you can arrive early enough for cocktails and conversation and then stay put when you both decide to get those hips moving. There’s food as well, including burgers, tacos and toasties, which can be useful if you’ve booked several hours but don’t fancy wasting a huge chunk of the evening on a formal restaurant beforehand. And because it stays open until 1 am from Monday through Saturday, it gives you a decent amount of time without committing to a proper club.

We’d choose this one when the companion herself is lively and sociable. If you’re booking one of our party escorts, or you know you both like the idea of starting with drinks and seeing whether the evening gets sillier later, this is the place to be.

SOMA - Best for Proper Late-Night Cocktails

  • Address: 14 Denman Street, Soho, London W1D 7HJ
  • Best for: Cocktails, intimate dates and staying out after midnight

If your idea of taking an escort out in Soho involves the very best cocktails, SOMA would be very high on our list.

You enter through an unmarked door on Denman Street and head downstairs into a dark, minimalist cocktail bar centred around a big stainless-steel counter. There’s a snug at one end and a lounge at the other, but sitting at the counter is a particularly good shout for two people. You get to watch the bartenders work, and there’s always something happening in front of you if conversation pauses for a second.

The cocktails themselves take inspiration from India and the wider subcontinent, so this isn’t really somewhere to visit if all you want is two vodka-and-Cokes before heading somewhere else. The drinks are a big part of the reason for coming. Music starts with smooth jazz earlier on and moves towards Golden Age hip hop as the night gets later, which also means the atmosphere gradually changes without suddenly turning into a full-blown nightclub.

And when we say late, we actually mean it. SOMA currently runs until 2 am on Wednesdays and Thursdays and 3 am on Fridays and Saturdays. That makes it one of the genuinely useful choices when dinner has already finished, it’s pushing midnight, and neither of you has the slightest interest in calling it a night. It'sworth knowing, though, that only a limited number of reservations are offered, and later in the evening the bar uses a queueing system. So reserve where possible, arrive before peak time, or have a backup plan.

Ronnie Scott’s - Best for Live Music

  • Address: 47 Frith Street, Soho, London W1D 4HT
  • Best for: Live music, longer dates and doing something more memorable than another bar

There are some nights when another cocktail bar just feels a little predictable. That’s when Ronnie Scott’s earns its place on this list.

The Soho jazz club has been around since 1959 and still runs a busy programme of main shows and Late Late sessions. The latter are especially useful for this guide because performances commonly begin around 11.15 pm, with the venue currently staying open until 3 am from Tuesday through Saturday.

This makes Ronnie’s a completely different kind of escort date. You’ve got an actual performance to enjoy together, something to talk about during the breaks, drinks on the table and a night that feels like you made slightly more effort. But plan this one properly. Ronnie Scott’s recommends booking in advance because many nights sell out. Some Late Late tickets may still be available at the door, but it's best not to risk it.

For a longer GFE date or an overnight booking, we think this works particularly well. Have dinner first, book the Late Late show, then you’ve still got the rest of the night afterwards without feeling like you spent three hours simply drinking for the sake of drinking.

House Party - Best for Late-Night Dancing

  • Address: 61 Poland Street, London W1F 7NU
  • Best for: Party escorts, dancing, games and genuinely late nights

Right. You’ve had the cocktails. You’ve done plenty of flirting. Sitting down no longer interests either of you. House Party is where things get much, much louder.

Created by Stormzy, the Poland Street venue takes the idea of an actual house party and stretches it across seven floors. Different parts of the “house” give you different things to do: karaoke in the Parents Bedroom, beer pong and retro games in the Basement, a hidden Treehouse snug, a roof terrace and, naturally, a kitchen that turns into a dancefloor. There are bars throughout and even New York-style pizza when all that dancing catches up with you.

House Party currently opens Thursday to Saturday from 8 pm until 3 am, but there’s an important bit of planning involved here too. It’s 21+, physical ID is required, and the venue encourages guests to apply for an invitation for priority entry. Walk-ins are possible until capacity is reached, but current door charges also rise after 11 pm.

So don’t spring this one on your companion without mentioning it. Make sure she actually fancies a wild night (best booking a party companion, of course), make sure you both have ID, and sort the entry situation beforehand. It’s also one we’d save for a reasonably long booking.

Apply for an invitation on the official House Party website.

When the Soho Night Ends... What Next?

If you’ve booked your escort for several hours or overnight, the last thing you want is to reach 1 am, leave the bar and only then start wondering where you’re actually going next.

If the plan is to head somewhere private afterwards, sort that part of the evening before you meet. A Soho hotel makes things particularly easy because you can check in earlier, leave anything you don’t want to carry around, enjoy the night properly and then walk back rather than ending everything with a long taxi journey across London. Just remember to check the hotel’s visitor policy beforehand rather than assuming every property works the same way.
